Cancellation Policy:
To cancel your reservation, notify the trip leader in writing (email is accepted). You cannot resell or gift your spot on your own, only the trip leader can sell reservations for this trip/event.

You may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of monies paid until 7 days after making the initial deposit. This grace period, however cannot extend past the final payment due date. When your cancellation is made after the grace period, we will deduct a cancellation fee from your refund. We will also deduct any charges for unrecoverable costs; however the total deductions shall not exceed the total you have paid.

The cancellation fee shall be as follows: When the base package (minimum purchase to be considered a participant in this trip/event) is: * More than $300, the cancellation fee is $50.
* More than $50 but not more than $300, the cancellation fee is $25.
* $50 or less, the cancellation fee is $0.

When you cancel your trip after the 7 day grace period and the trip leader is able to find a replacement, your refund will be equal to your payment minus the cancellation fee and minus any unrecoverable costs. When the cancellation is made 90 days or more before the trip start date, the refund is payable within 30 days of finding a replacement, unless the replacement is not found until after 90 days before the trip start date in which case the refund will be payable no later than 45 days after trip completion. When the cancellation is made less than 90 days before the trip start date, the refund is payable no later than 45 days after the trip completion.

When the trip is changed from what was originally advertised regarding dates, destination, or mode of transportation, or has been re-priced with a substantial increase, you may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of monies paid.

Any trip spots that are cancelled by the trip’s vendor shall be refunded including all recoverable costs (sums paid to the vendor for services not performed in accordance with the contract between the vendor and the trip leader). These refunds shall be processed not later than 30 days after receiving the funds from the vendor.

This policy shall not be modified unless the modifications are stated in the trip announcement and the confirmation letter.
No Fee

Naches Peak Loop with Views of Mt Rainier hike

Imagine hiking Mt with views of surrounding mountains and turning a corner Mt Rainier is there in all its glory.  And the whole hike is only 3.2 miles round trip with 600 feet elevation gain!  We need the experience before summer runs out!  We can explore Sheep Lake after the hike with options to hike up to Sourdough Gap (6 more miles round trip and 1100 feet elevation gain, though)

Meet at Safeway Enumclaw, 152 Roosevelt Avenue E at 8:00 am to then travel east on Highway 410 (Chinook Pass Highway) about 44 miles.  Half a mile before (west of) Chinook Pass, park at the Tipsoo Lake parking area.  If you prefer, you can meet at the parking area at 9:00 am.  Or if several people are leaving the same area, they can make their own arrangements for getting to the trailhead.  Check the signups in Club Express and click on names for attendee’s locations.  Northwest Forest Pass required or the America the Beautiful pass.

Naches Tavern in Greenwater will be our watering hole after the hike.  Yukky weather will cancel, check with trip leader if in doubt.
