Some people say that skiing was invented in Kitzbuhel. One thing is for sure: the annual Hahnenkamm World Cup downhill race is without a doubt the most famous ski race in the world. This is your chance to try the infamous Streif course. But it is not only for world-class skiers. The resort around the Kitzbüheler Horn Mountain and surrounding mountains of the Tirol has a huge range of pistes for all abilities. With easy access to slopes, guaranteed snow from December to April, excellent off piste-ski touring for free riders, well over 65+ state-of-the-art lifts, and plenty of cozy on-mountain huts to visit, Kitzbühel is a top ski destination. This pretty village ensures there is plenty to see and do at the end of a great day on the slopes. We will return the 90 km to our arrival city of Innsbruck for a two-night stay prior to departure. You will have the opportunity to ski the slopes near Innsbruck if you choose or relax and enjoy the sights of this famous Austrian city.

Trip includes round trip airfare to Innsbruck, Austria, private motor couch transfers, (7) nights lodging at the 4-star Hotel Maria Theresia, Kitzbühel, with gourmet buffet breakfasts and 4-course dinners daily, (www.hotel-maria-theresia.at), (2) nights lodging at the 4-star Hotel Innsbruck with gourmet buffet breakfasts daily, (www.hotelinnsbruck.com), Both hotels are centrally located in the charming historic districts of the cities with lift access and bus lines directly in front of the hotels. (7) ski days are available in the schedule to ski the expansive terrain in this Tirol Region of Austria. Lift tickets are not included in our price. One of the best parts of skiing Austria are the price and flexibility of the lift tickets. You will be skiing for approx. $60 a day.

You will be working directly with our agent, Monica Voltz of Snow Tours (monicavoltz@yahoo.com) to register and pay for your trip. You will also register here on this form (no fees will be collected here). You can access the full contract details and sign-up form for Snow Tours here on the trip 4-page flyer. Standard trip price is $2836. A choice of a 2 person room or a single supplement room (+$571) are available. You may choose to provide your own travel arrangements for a reduction in the price of $738. A $1050 deposit is due at registration (until October 15) with Snow Tours. (see 4-page Snow Tour flyer attached.)  Non-member fee is an additional $40.  Your passport expiration must be no earlier than six months after February 7, 2022.

Cancellation Policy:
To cancel your reservation, notify the trip leader in writing (email is accepted). You cannot resell or gift your spot on your own, only the trip leader can sell reservations for this trip/event.

You may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of monies paid until 7 days after making the initial deposit. This grace period, however cannot extend past the final payment due date. When your cancellation is made after the grace period, we will deduct a cancellation fee from your refund. We will also deduct any charges for unrecoverable costs; however the total deductions shall not exceed the total you have paid.

The cancellation fee shall be as follows: When the base package (minimum purchase to be considered a participant in this trip/event) is: * More than $300, the cancellation fee is $50.
* More than $50 but not more than $300, the cancellation fee is $25.
* $50 or less, the cancellation fee is $0.

When you cancel your trip after the 7 day grace period and the trip leader is able to find a replacement, your refund will be equal to your payment minus the cancellation fee and minus any unrecoverable costs. When the cancellation is made 90 days or more before the trip start date, the refund is payable within 30 days of finding a replacement, unless the replacement is not found until after 90 days before the trip start date in which case the refund will be payable no later than 45 days after trip completion. When the cancellation is made less than 90 days before the trip start date, the refund is payable no later than 45 days after the trip completion.

When the trip is changed from what was originally advertised regarding dates, destination, or mode of transportation, or has been re-priced with a substantial increase, you may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of monies paid.

Any trip spots that are cancelled by the trip’s vendor shall be refunded including all recoverable costs (sums paid to the vendor for services not performed in accordance with the contract between the vendor and the trip leader). These refunds shall be processed not later than 30 days after receiving the funds from the vendor.

This policy shall not be modified unless the modifications are stated in the trip announcement and the confirmation letter.
