East Lake Sammamish Trail Ride

Description: This trail winds its way along the east shore of Lake Sammamish, offering views of the water along the way. The route is paved for most of the way and is virtually flat due to the corridor’s history as a railway. (3.5 miles in mid section is gravel, hard-pack dirt)
Easy for trail bikes, hybrid bikes and mountain bike tires
Skinny road bike tires NOT recommended due to non-paved section
Refreshments afterwards at Coho Café in Issaquah
Round trip distance: 22 miles RT
Difficulty: Green, flat, mostly paved trail
Speed on flats: leisurely, enjoy the view pace, 8-10 MPH
Meeting Time: 2:30pm
Start point: Meet at Issaquah trailhead by the red train caboose
