Located at 35 miles from Stevens Pass and 36 miles from Mission Ridge, Leavenworth is perfectly situated for a convenient get away with a variety of ski options available including downhill, cross country Nordic skiing. Choose your ski days at the pass or try cross country for a change of pace. There are at 4 different XC areas locally including easy loops for beginners and expert level hill climbs for the more advanced, some with rentals on site.
We will be grouping up to plan the days according to your interests and meeting up for tail gate happy hour socials and more. Bring your folding chairs and any tail gating accessories you have, let’s make all this social distancing fun while still being smart.
Suggested activities include skiing at Stevens on Wednesday and Saturday, then local area activities including cross country skiing, snowshoe trails, sledding, sleigh rides, snowmobiles, snowmobile dinner rides will all be available for booking and sharing at your own cost. Shopping, art walks, bar hopping, there is lots to do in and around town that is free or low-cost choices.
Our lodging at the Hampton Inn & Suites is conveniently located close to town and next door to Safeway. The shuttle service every 15 minutes into town takes away the parking hassle if desired. It has a large lobby, lots of free parking, a nice free breakfast every morning (subject to Covid requirements), free internet, laundry facilities and a business center on site. The indoor pool and spa, outdoor spa and fitness room openings are subject to pandemic phase 3 designation. Rooms include refrigerator and microwave.

Rooms are available with king beds or two queens, subject to availability. Arrange for your own roommate; the club will not assign roommates due to the Covid-19 situation. Lift tickets and other activity expenses, nor Stevens Pass mountain access reservations, will not be provided by the trip in order to give you maximum flexibility for your choice of activities.
This is a drive-to trip and carpools could be privately arranged among the attendees. The drive time to Leavenworth from Seattle area is approximately 2 ½ hours depending on road conditions.
