Ski Silver Mountain & Schweitzer

Silver Mountain is a hidden gem near Kellogg, Idaho.  It has 2,200 vertical feet, 1,600 acres, 7 lifts, the longest trail is 2.5 miles, and on average gets 340 inches of fluffy Rocky Mountain powder snow.  We will stay in the FairBridge Inn in Kellogg, a short walk to the transport gondola that gets us to the ski mountain.https://www.silvermt.com/mountain/trail-map   We'll stay 2 nights at the FairBridge.  On the second day we'll check out, ski at Silver Mtn, then drive to Sandpoint and check in to the LaQuinta.

Schweitzer Mountain Resort is a well known favorite to many of us.  It is 80 miles from Silver Mountain.  Schweitzer has 2,900 acres, 92 trails, 2,400 vertical feet, and averages 300 inches of Rocky Mountain fluff.  We will stay at the LaQuinta Inn in downtown Sandpoint.
