Snohomish River Estuary Paddle

Meet at Langus Riverfront Park on Smith Island at 10am for a kayak or canoe paddle of the Snohomish River Estuary.    We will leave the Langus boat launch by no later than 10:30am and we will return at approximately 3pm or 4pm.  After the paddle, we will go to the Scuttlebutt Brewery at 3314 Cedar Street in Everett for food and beverages.

We will paddle on the Snohomish River along the shoreline of Smith Island and then downriver past Preston Point and into Possession Sound where we will have lunch at Jetty Island.

The water trail will be a unique place where kayakers and canoeists can explore many miles of shoreline, view abundant wildlife and paddle safely over calm water.  At least 350 different kinds of birds and countless varieties of mammals and plants call this place home, including blue heron, eagles, osprey, seals and otter.
