Details: This event is in combination with our Ski Picnic, which for members begins at 2:30pm. Come earlier and enjoy scenic kayaking of Lake Sammamish. We will depart from Tibbett’s Beach area promptly at 1:15 and enjoy a leisurely paddle of the lakes shoreline…returning prior to the picnic.
Please be advised that there are no rentals available at the park & this is a bring-your-own event. This lake, although somewhat warmer than the sound, is still Very cold. Additionally, inflatable/sit-on-top kayaks may be difficult to navigate. All kayakers must have a PDF, and joining us for this adventure means you assume any risks inherent with kayaking. High winds(ie./waves) or heavy rain/thunder will cancel the event.
