DECEPTION PASS STATE PARK HIKE – GOOSE ROCK
Date: Saturday October 7th
Meeting time and Place: 8 AM Brick Yard Park and Ride – Interstate 405 and 160th Street
8:30 AM -Ash Way Park and Ride Interstate 5 and 164th Street SW
At Deception Pass we will meet at the far west end of the Cranberry Lake parking area. After crossing the bridge drive one mile to the park entrance. Stay on the lower road following Cranberry Lake to the end.

Whether you're simply reveling in the beauty of Deception Pass and the surrounding waters and islands and enjoy viewing wildlife this is the hike experience for you. We’ll hike to the highest point on Whidbey Island. The pace will allow for plenty stops to take photos and enjoy the views.
Afterwards, let’s plan to stop afterwards for food and drink at the La Conner Brewing Company located at 117 S. First Street.
