Saturday, May 19 th, from 12-on
Bike Tune-Up and
Maintenance Clinic/BBQ
Where: Len Blau's house 2412 126th Ave NE Bellevue 98005
What: Learn about bike maintenance, how to change a flat, and more
You don’t have to be a biker to attend – it’s open to everyone to enjoy !
Here's the deal: Starting at noon, bring over your favorite beverage, appetizer,
salad, entree or dessert – it’s a POTLUCK. The BBQ will be fired up and we'll
eat from 12-2.
For the road bike section: David Nestvold will be here for the first time (so let’s have a big turn-out)
from 2-3:30 or longer as needed to refresh us on bike tune ups,
fittings, and adjustments. Part of the entertainment will be a raffle
for some awesome bike accessories from David.
For the mountain bike section, our own Jim Humenik will be showing us how to keep your monutain bike in tip top shape.
For those of you going to Len’s Bike Maintenance/BBQ on Sat, May 19th – Bring anything you want to donate or giveaway - extra water bottles, patch kids, clothes/jerseys you don’t wear or need anymore, bikes, etc. We can recycle and do our part to be environmental friendly.

- Distance 25-30 miles

For those of you who want a shorter ride; Len just added this one:
Len’s “Over the 520” bike ride – as another option to bike before the BBQ/bike clinic this Saturday – meet at the Big Fish Grill restaurant 10426 Northop way in Kirkland (at Lake Washington Blvd right off of 520) at 8:50 am…so we can leave at 9 am. (This way we avoid the big hill climb to my house). It’s ok to park in their lot.
We’ll ride about an hour to either Fremont or Ballard – on the Burke-Gilman trail the entire way – mellow fun ride, minimal hills, no cars, 12-14 mph…thru UW – then back around 11. Showers and towels provided if needed – or we can always hose you off ! RSVP to Len at Lblau@nwlink.com or text me at 206-276-9921 if you will be riding. Both road/mtn bikers welcome !
If you want to drop off food at my house at 8:30ish , Pamela will be there to take it so you don’t have to leave it in your car. See you soon ! Len
